How to Use HolyPoly – Complete Guide
This guide walks you through every HolyPoly feature so you can get the most out of Polymarket copy trading: the leaderboard, playbooks, the automated trading bot (and its limits), free tools like Movers and Closing soon, and your account. Use the sections below to jump to what you need.
1. Getting started
Create an account at HolyPoly (email/password). HolyPoly runs on a 3-day free trial (card required), then $990/month. Go to Start free trial to begin. During the trial and after you subscribe you get full leaderboard access, playbooks, hourly data updates, and the automated trading bot. Cancel anytime.
After sign-up, sign in and head to the dashboard (leaderboard) to see top wallets and the Bot card.
2. Leaderboard – find top Polymarket wallets
The leaderboard is your main place to find wallets worth copying. Go to Dashboard. Wallets are ranked by performance. We only show wallets that meet quality bars: 60%+ win rate over the last 50+ closed trades and positive PnL over multiple weeks—so you see consistent performers, not one-off luck.
Filters and categories
Use the category filters to focus on Politics, Crypto, or Sports. You can also filter by time window (e.g. 30-day PnL). Pick a category that matches the markets you want to trade on Polymarket.
What the columns mean
Leaderboard columns typically include: wallet address (or label), win rate (%), number of trades, PnL (profit and loss) over the selected period, and sometimes volume or other metrics. Higher win rate and positive PnL with many trades indicate a wallet with repeatable edge. Click a row to open the wallet’s profile.
Wallet profile and playbook access
From the profile you see the wallet’s open positions, recent activity, and a link to its playbook. The playbook is the copy-ready list of markets, sides (YES/NO), entry prices, and sizes. With the trial or subscription you get full leaderboard access and can open any wallet’s playbook.
3. Playbooks – copy-ready instructions
A playbook turns a wallet’s activity into simple instructions: which market, YES or NO, entry price, position size, and (where relevant) exit or target. HolyPoly builds this from the wallet’s open and recent positions so you can mirror them on Polymarket.com.
How to use a playbook
- Open the leaderboard and click a wallet.
- Open that wallet’s playbook / Copy view.
- For each line (market, side, price, size), go to Polymarket, find the same market, and place the same trade—same side (YES or NO), same or better price, and the suggested size (or scale to your bankroll).
You execute the trades yourself; HolyPoly doesn’t place orders for you when you use playbooks only. For sizing guidance (e.g. % of bankroll, max $ per market), see how much money to copy trade. To automate execution, use the bot.
4. Automated Trading Bot
The automated trading bot mirrors a top leaderboard wallet in your connected Polymarket wallet so you don’t have to place every trade manually. It’s included with your trial and subscription. You control how much the bot can risk using limits.
Where to set it up
On the dashboard you’ll see the Automated Trading Bot card. You can also go directly to /bot. Connect your Polymarket trading wallet by pasting the private key (we store it encrypted and use it only to place copy-trades). Never share your key elsewhere.
Bot limits – max $ per market, max total $, max positions
After connecting a wallet, the Bot card shows three limits you can set:
- Max $ per market: The bot will not put more than this amount (e.g. $200 or $500) in any single market.
- Max total $ (optional): Cap on total portfolio exposure across all positions. The bot stops opening new positions once this is reached.
- Max positions (optional): Limit how many markets the bot can have open at once.
Set the numbers that match your risk tolerance. The bot will never exceed these limits. Click Save after changing them.
Turn the bot on or off
Use the toggle to enable or disable the bot. When on, the bot places and adjusts positions to mirror the source wallet (within your limits). When off, no new trades are placed; your existing positions on Polymarket stay as they are.
Disconnect the bot
You can disconnect at any time. Use the Disconnect button (with confirmation). This removes your wallet and key from HolyPoly; the bot will no longer place trades for that wallet. Your positions on Polymarket remain; you keep full control of the wallet elsewhere.
5. Movers and Closing soon (free)
These two pages are free and public—no account required. They help you spot momentum and near-term catalysts.
- Movers: Biggest 24-hour price moves on Polymarket. Use it to see which markets are moving fast and where momentum might be.
- Closing soon: Markets that resolve in the next 7 days. Useful for last-minute opportunities or to avoid getting stuck in illiquid markets that resolve soon.
Combine these with the leaderboard: e.g. check Movers for momentum, then see if any top wallets are in those markets via their playbooks.
6. Profile and billing
Your Profile page lets you manage your account: update email or password, and manage your subscription. Billing is handled via Stripe. Use the link to the Stripe customer portal to update payment method, view invoices, or cancel. When you cancel, you keep access until the end of the current billing period; after that you lose access to the leaderboard, playbooks, and bot.
7. Get the most out of HolyPoly
- Use filters: Focus on Politics, Crypto, or Sports and on wallets with 60%+ win rate and 50+ trades so you copy proven edge.
- Size and cap risk: When copying manually, use a small % of bankroll per market (e.g. 1–5%). With the bot, set max $ per market and max total $ so you never risk more than you’re comfortable with.
- Combine playbooks with Movers/Closing soon: Check Movers for momentum and Closing soon for resolving markets; then see if top wallets are in those markets and copy or let the bot follow.
- Disconnect when you want: The bot is optional. You can disconnect your wallet and key anytime and keep full control of your funds on Polymarket.
